School is out, the summer is here!

…that’s why I’ve put together a brand new shoot option for the next two months!

The full balance for the shoot is required at the time of booking to secure your chosen day. Bookings are only available on weekdays - evenings are available during the Spring and Summer months.

This price covers a 20 mile round trip from Reading; (Berkshire, RG31 6SR) photoshoots outside of this region will be charged additional mileage at 40p a mile.

What To Expect

I will arrive at the location of your choice at the agreed time and I will introduce myself to you and your horses. Prior to the photoshoot I will ask you to fill out a short “Getting to Know You” form in which we discuss any particular shots you have in mind. You will also have access to the 'Client Area' of the website which should help you prepare for your shoot. Your horse should be clean and pampered before my arrival. Upon arrival, I will have a little look around the surroundings to consider the backgrounds and where best to begin.

Different outfits are recommended to add variation to the photoshoot; find something that you are comfortable wearing. If you want help deciding what to wear, feel free to drop me a message. Bring along more than you need to and I'll help you put an outfit together! More information about preparing for your shoot will be sent to you, in more detail, at the time of booking.

I have experienced many different situations - some animals love to pose for the camera whilst others will fidget! I want to make each and every shoot enjoyable for everyone I have the pleasure of photographing for. Don't panic if your horse keeps snatching the grass or doesn't like that tree I want him to pose under. Relax - my pockets come packed with polos and treats as well as rustly packets/squeaky toys in order to get their attention and ears forward.

The 'Great British Weather' - is not so great at times! We can't always predict the weather in advance and a miserable, rainy day will put a damper on your photo session. Photoshoots will go ahead if it is cloudy, but in the event of horrible weather, flooding, or snow your photoshoot may be cancelled and re-scheduled. If necessary, I will contact you as early as possible to postpone the shoot to another time.

Ideally you should be able to bring an extra pair of hands along to the shoot to assist in holding your horse when necessary, as well as helping me keep their attention and their ears forward.

Canine Photography

I will join you on your favourite dog walk to capture your dog (or dogs!) in a setting they are familiar to; in a range of portrait and un-posed shots as they enjoy their walk.

Black Background Mini Shoots

These shoots continue to grow in popularity, the 30 minute sessions use only natural light to create a timeless studio-style portrait of your horse.

That's me! I'm usually found crouched in the mud, or lying on my tummy in the long grass to get that perfect shot!

My shooting style is super relaxed but I'll always be on hand to offer you direction and plenty of posing advice. I know that having your photo taken isn't always the most enjoyable experience, but we'll have a laugh along the way and capture some beautiful images of you with your horse.

Please drop me a message if you have any questions or would like to know more about what a shoot entails!
