Once you've chosen your favourite images, it's time to start thinking about how you'd like to display them! Think about the space you have available, and not just the wall space. I offer some lovely products that will look perfect on shelves, cabinets and on desks.
Digital Images
If you've decided that you have far more images than you can possibly display in your home (the number of times I've had clients tell me that their husband will leave home if they put up any more horse pictures!).
Perhaps you're not quite ready to be displaying the images from your shoot, for any number of reasons, digital files are a lovely keepsake to take from your session. I have a number of different options available when it comes to purchasing the digital images. The majority of my clients use one, or several social media platforms and can't wait to share the images from their shoot with friends and family, as their profile picture or on their timeline.
The full resolution option will allow you to come back time after time to print your images, or use them as part of a project you're working on. I've seen clients have their photographs made in to calendars, have them printed on to chopping boards or display them on a digital frame.
Prints
For me, nothing beats holding a photograph in your hand, or gazing up at an image on the wall. Having a picture to physically hold and treasure is something few and far between in this day and age. I'm sure most of you reading this have thousands and thousands of images on your phone or computer, it's so easy to take a photograph, instantly. But how many of these photographs do you have printed to admire and appreciate? During your shoot I'll capture the story, the partnership and bond between you and your horse and create images that are worthy of being shown off pride of place on your wall, rather than being hidden at the back of a drawer on a memory stick, or on a hard drive never to be delved in to again.
There are so many ways to display your prints - the prints available to you from your gallery come mounted as standard.

Lay-Flat Albums
A great way to have a physical memory of your shoot. Perhaps you loved all the images from your shoot and couldn't quite narrow down your favourite selection? Or maybe, like many, you had your "must have" images printed as large, statement pieces for your home, but couldn't bare to leave the other images behind? The lay-flat albums will feature all, or your most loved images from your shoot. Each one is individually designed, and bespoke-made - I'll send proofs throughout the design process to ensure you absolutely love the finished product. Many of my clients love to gift photo books to parents and grandparents too!
Beautiful Extras
I put together some gorgeous little extra products too! They're all items I've loved having at home, or using myself, so I know you will love them too! On my bed I have three of my most-loved photographs of Dolly printed on to a cushion to bury myself in - they're incredibly soft and an absolute must have item in any home!
The acrylic blocks are a stylish, modern way to exhibit images - they're frame free and capture the surrounding light so beautifully. They also make great gifts for family members, or presents from friends who have recently had a shoot. My Mum has a collection of her favourite photographs of our family pride of place on the fireplace.
Canvases & Framed Prints
When it comes to wall art, I definitely think that they should be reserved for your favourite image from the shoot. A large scale canvas or framed piece gives enormous impact and creates a focal point in a room. Take the time to measure the space you have available, whether it be above your bed, across the back of the sofa, or in your lounge.
Below is a collection of the most popular frame mould options, there are of course hundreds more available. Please drop me a message if you have a bespoke request in mind. All of the frames are handmade to order, including adding inscriptions into the mount, braided horse hair, and multi-aperture collage layouts.

The "Gallery Flat" option is a very classic frame mould option, made entirely from wood, with your choice of colour finish.
The "Gallery Bevel" option is a boxier frame type.
Below are some other more decorative frame styles, with a range of finishes to compliment your interior and the image tones.

I offer three standard mount finishes, a stark bright white, a subtle off white, and my absolute favourite when it comes to framing black background images is the black option with a white core, leaving a thin white border between the image and the mount, just breaking up that black enough to really set the piece just right.

The Finishing Touch: Why Bespoke Framing Makes All the Difference
When it comes to photography, we often think about the moment the image is taken — the light, the subject, the emotion captured in that split second. But there’s one part of the process that’s just as important as the photograph itself: how it’s displayed.
To explore why bespoke framing is such an important part of the finished artwork, I sat down with my framer to talk about what makes custom framing so special.
Q: Many people might wonder — what’s so different about a bespoke frame compared to one from a department store?
A: The difference is in the detail. A bespoke frame is designed specifically for your photograph, your home, and your taste. When you buy something off the shelf, you’re limited to standard sizes and colours — you have to make your photo fit the frame, rather than the other way around.
With a custom frame, there’s no compromise. Everything from the moulding to the mount colour, glass type, and proportions is chosen to complement your image. You also have someone guiding you through those decisions — helping you match the aesthetic of your photograph to your interior so it all feels cohesive. It’s a completely personal experience.
Q: How do you find the right frame that highlights the image rather than detracting from it?
A: That’s such an important question. The key is balance — the frame should enhance the photograph without shouting over it.
I like to start by looking at the colour palette of the image. For example, if a photograph has warm brown and golden tones, I’ll often suggest a frame that picks up those subtle hues — something with a similar warmth or undertone. It creates harmony between the frame and the image.
Texture and style matter too. A rustic wooden frame can bring out the character of an outdoor portrait, while something sleek and minimal might suit a contemporary black-and-white image. The goal is always to draw the viewer’s eye into the photograph, not the border around it.
Q: Bespoke framing is an investment — what makes it worth it compared to cheaper options?
A: Quality and longevity. When you’ve invested in professional photography, it deserves to be finished to the same standard. A bespoke framer uses high-quality materials — solid woods, archival mount boards, and acid-free adhesives — which means your artwork is protected for years to come.
Cheaper frames from places like Ikea might look nice at first glance, but they’re not built to preserve fine art or photographs. Over time, lower-quality materials can discolour, warp, or even damage the image.
So really, bespoke framing isn’t just about appearance — it’s about safeguarding something that has meaning. It’s the final step in honouring the art you’ve created or commissioned.
Q: In a few words — why do you think bespoke framing matters so much?
A: Because your photographs deserve to be seen at their best. You’ve invested time, emotion, and care into creating them. A bespoke frame completes that story — it turns your image into a piece of art you can proudly display and cherish for a lifetime.
