January round up!

Wow - the first month of 2017 has flashed by already!

It's crazy how fast time is flying by. It's been a very busy month for me after the Christmas break. I have been busy taking bookings for the Spring and summer, as far ahead as August!

The month began with a trip over to Rose Hugh Smith to photograph her and the lovely DJ, it's amazing to see the progress in just a few weeks. Then a canine shoot followed with Alice White and her 4 handsome poochies! Haygain Hay Steamers kept me busy this month with several shoots, photographing both their flexinebs and the new forager which was launched at BETA International! My first portrait session of the year was with Abi and her two lovely ponies: Rosie and Bertie; it was a cold miserable morning but the photos were still just as lovely! I seem to have done quite a number of business shoots this month, everyone's getting prepared for a busy 2017, launching new products, websites and preparing their marketing material: 3JFitness, Personal Pet Transport, Elisabeth Yates were all a pleasure to work with. I had one black background shoot this month with Claire Mahoney with the particularly photogenic Lewis - and how could we forget Tilly and Popsey! I caught up with Katherine Cooksley and Becka James on several ocassions too - I got to see Reuben place in both classes at his first dressage outing with Becka and Gem made for a fantastic model for Haygain. On the subject of sponsored riders, Jessie Kirby Dressage had a notable win in the FEI Pony Team test on Cruz III at Addington High Profile Show which was fantastic! I had the pleasure of photographing the lovely Allwood family last weekend - the biggest family I've photographed to date and we even managed to get both the dogs to co-operate! I also got to meet the lovely Caitlin , Dave, Odin and King too - Caitlin had organised a shoot for her and the boys as King was heading in for surgery and she wanted to have some lovely images, just in case the worst happened. But I'm pleased to report that the surgery went well and King is recovering at home! My last shoot of January was with Louise Good and her 3 cheeky boys! They provided lots of entertainment and I loved the choice of cowboy boots in winter, Louise!

What a briliant month January has been for Daydream Equine Art - I can't wait to see what the rest of the year holds!

Thank you to everyone for making my job possible and those who continue to support my business, be it through mentioning me to your friends, comissioning logos, interacting on social media, buying vouchers and of course booking shoots!
