Meet Viv and her handsome ex-racer, Phoenix! By now I hope you'll be starting to recognise that I'm at the beautiful Cane End Stud in Reading - by far the yard I've been to the most! Thank you to everyone at Cane End who are always recommending me and booking in shoots! It's always a pleasure being at Cane End, not only is everyone very friendly and welcoming, but also there's ample scenery for us to play around with!
The pair of them really enjoy sponsored rides and have started some cross country - they love hacking and are definately blessed with such lovely woodland to explore, direct off the yard! Viv wanted some really natural, relaxed shots of her and Phoenix.
We began the shoot with everyone's favourite images - the black background ones, of course! Next, we headed down through the yard and in to the woods in to the field. The corn had just been cut, but the oranges of Phoenix's coat worked so well with the golden stubble! With the golden colours in mind, Viv was already talking about a shoot during Autumn in her lovely hunting jacket!
After a while in the field, we headed back up in to the woods. There are loads of fallen logs for us to utilise during shoots. There's a particular image I always love to take at Cane End as we walk back up the track:
