I thought it would be fun to get to know everyone a little better during these times, first up is Becka James, one of my sponsored riders! We've known each other for several years now, so it was fun to learn a bit more - I've realised we mainly talk about food!
How are you spending lockdown and what are you most looking forward to once it's lifted? We are spending lockdown mostly at home with Marnie, playing lots and Marnie is trying every new food she can! Caps is in fitness bootcamp and Glen is enjoying a few weeks off as he was in intense work when he came to me and we really cracked on after him not doing a lot so a few weeks off in the field for him is allowing his brain to chill and mull over all his learning! I cannot wait for lockdown to be lifted so we can box to training and also a few good hacks off our normal farm!
If you could ride any horse, past or present, from any discipline, who would it be and why? I would want to ride Big Star, just to be able to feel a horse with the power he has would be amazing!
What/who would you dress up as for a fancy dress party? Fancy dress is NOT my thing... The last time had fancy dress was for my friends 16th birthday party, I went as a cave girl. A bit of backcombed hair, holes cut into a leopard print Primark dress and paired with white converse!
What's your proudest horsey moment? The proudest horsey moment I have is a simple one, the feeling I get every time Caps and I go on a funride or even XC schooling and she just jumps whatever I point her at, it may not be big or it maybe huge but she just gives me the best feeling!
..now ask me a question!
Whats the least fave food to eat and why!
Probably something like porridge! I'm also not a massive fan of peppers, courgettes or fish!
